The first cell phone ever made was the Motorola DynaTAC 8000X. Created and sold in 1983, the world's first cell phone was the very first spark that eventually led to the powerful smart phones of today.The DynaTac, which stands for 'Dynamic Adaptive Total Area Coverage,' allowed users to talk for one half hour and it held a charge for 8 hours, which is pretty good if you think about it. Boasting an LED screen and memory for thirty phone numbers, this relic took a whopping ten hours to recharge.
