30 Rock is one of the funniest shows on tv right now. It's right up there with The Office in terms of best comedies on tv. It also shares the same network.
30 Rock was created by and stars Tina Fey as the lead character, Liz Lemon. Liz is the head writer for a tv show that looks quite a bit like Saturday Night Live on acid. Tracy Jordan, played by Tracy Morgan (another SNL alum), is the insane egomaniacal star of the show.
Half of Liz's time is spent babying Jordan and making sure he can participate in the show, and the other half is spent hanging out with Alec Baldwin's character, an executive at GE, the parent company that owned the show.
Season 3 of 30 Rock was very funny and continued in the short tradition of wild, off the wall comedy that the first two seasons were know for.
